I had a great experience with Pete. He was courteous, did good work, and was helpful beyond just the repair (advice on thermostats and install, etc.)

There were a few issues outside of this though:
- Scheduling was confusing and delayed. I was getting conflicting information via calls/text/email and in the end they mixed up and had to reschedule. It was confusing and frustrating.
- I asked for a detailed estimate of the cost (parts, labor, etc.) and never got it. They only gave me a final cost and initial visit cost.
- The price seems steep for the work involved but I was happy with Pete so it was ok.

Heating system seems to be working well and we have much more even temperature across the house.

I would use Coaches again but would be more clear about scheduling and pricing. The most important part is the work done and that was great.

If you need your air conditioning unit to be fixed the best thing you can do is hire this company. They did a great job. Thank you.

My home warranty, American Home Shield, offered a pre-season AC tune up this spring, so I decided to take advantage of the offer and requested the service. Coaches HVAC was assigned to my request and I am very pleased with their service. The technician, Michael Merck, gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to arrival, which I really appreciated. Mr. Merck arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional. He completed the maintenance work in less than an hour and told me everything looked fine; just needed to replace my air filters. He told me about several membership products & services that the company offers outside of the home warranty, but he was not at all pushy about it.

I'm hoping that my home warranty will offer a pre-season tune up for the heating system this fall, but if not, I will definitely schedule one myself with Coaches HVAC.

After having my heater serviced by another company, it started to vibrate significantly. My home warranty set up my appointment with them and the technician that came out was 1. very polite, 2. wore shoe covers, 3. fixed the issue in no time at all and 4. didn't try to upsell me. I appreciate any time a company doesn't try to rip you off. Overall, great service. Thank you very much!

I help my grandmother whenever I can even though I don't live near her. She was having problems with her heater and called a company that advertises on billboards throughout the city so people are familiar with that name. They quoted her nearly $7,000 for a new unit. She was ready to do it but I told her to wait and get a second opinion.
Well, thankfully, she listened and she asked me to help her find someone else to come over for another opinion. So, I called a few different companies in the area that I found online. Some were asking all kinds of ridiculous questions like "well, what did the other company quote her? Can she show us the invoice / quote?" and I remember thinking "what does that matter? Go over and give her a quote based on what YOU find." I had a feeling that they just wanted to come right under the other companies quote even if the other company highly inflated the price or wasn't honest about what needed to be done.
I was shocked as to how difficult it was just to get a 2nd opinion! I even had another company tell me that the owner was going to call me back. He called me back and wasted my time telling me how great they are and got pushy and it all made me feel like something wasn't right. I just told him I would call him back and never did. We needed a job done and didn't need all kinds of distractions because they are all playing these competitive games. It's simple... come over and give us a quote. Why they were stressing me over a basic request was beyond me! My grandmother was without heat in the winter!
THANKFULLY, the next company that I called was exactly what we needed!!!! Not only did they come without making it difficult and asking a bunch of irrelevant questions, but they said they could fix it for around $640! What a difference! From $7,000 to $640. Guess who we went with? Yup.... these guys that I just gave 5 STARS to. While we understand that her unit might need to be replaced soon (since it's about 25 yrs. old) we, like most people, don't have $7,000 just sitting around and we will try to fix things on a budget first. The other guys were like "it's old and it needs to be replaced." And since most customers aren't experts in that field, they just trust what they are told. I tend to question and get 2nd opinions because there are far too many shady companies out there.
So, we were so happy that these guys were courteous and clearly as HONEST as possible which is soooooo rare (and refreshing) in this day and age! Thank you, COACHES, for being, well..... YOU!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Coaches HVAC Extraordinaire, and they absolutely lived up to their name. The team was not only super professional and on time, but they got my HVAC running perfectly. They even took the time to share a few maintenance tips so I can keep things in shape. These guys are the real deal. I was prescribed them through my home warranty company American Home shield and of course I am always a little nervous about who they send to you especially because the company is in Stockton but I was pleasantly surprised Stephen Jeffery from Coaches gave me a call when he was close which was much appreciated. He was very professional and he was done in just about an hour and a half.

In addition to this, I told one of my buddies about them and he called, they were at his house the next day and also finished fixing his AC at a fair price in under 1.5 hours also, so my experience was not a fluke. Not a shock that these guys have so many high marks. I would Recommend to everyone.

Was in a time crunch with getting some repairs done, specifically with the heater at the house I was moving out of, and he was more than accommodating. He addressed my concerns, timeframe, and main thing he was very compassionate. He fixed the heater issues at the house- in more than a timely manner-

My furnace suddenly stopped working. I requested a quotes from several services on Yelp and these guys gave me the best price and scheduled a visit next day. But the most important they offered to walk me through the diagnostic to see if we could fix it right away! And it worked. I went to Lowes, bought a fuse, replace it and ... now I have warm house 🙂

We were introduced to Coach's through American Home Shield. After placing the service call, Chris had the technician come to our house the very next day, he called me back within a day to discuss what was needed and to give me an estimate. The techs were at our house the following week to take final measurements and plan out what needed to be done.
Due to OUR schedule he started the work two weeks after the initial call. They were done in TWO days. Let me tell you, they were punctual, knowledgeable, kind professional and extremely efficient.
I would definitely recommend this company regardless of method of payment. Chris was honest, straightforward, professional and kind.

I've been very happy with this company. When they say they're gonna be there, they show up. When the technician arrives, they've always been very polite. Very knowledgeable to do their job well, clean up after themselves. I definitely recommend Coaches HVAC service has been impeccable. My outside unit needed a part and they had the part in stock with them and they fixed it right away. When they arrived they didn't even know what the problem was so it's nice to know that they have common parts for common problems. I recommend Coaches HVAC to everybody.

I reviewed Coaches last Spring. After i gave a poor review,Curtis the owner, called me to determine what i needed to be satisfied. I said if they couldnt get a forced air vent in one bedroom, then it would need a mini split. He agreed. Within 2 weeks, they installed a mini split to provide heat and a/c for that bedroom, which solved the problem. Everyone can make a mistake, but when a business stands behind their work and makes it right, then i'm willing to recommend them.

They always get the job done right! Professional and trustworthy. I always pick them when we have HVAC issues but they're always booked

Coaches HVAC is five star all the way. I had another company come to my house last Friday and he told me that whoever installed my thermostat last, that they must of touched the wires and that caused a lot of damage to my heater. I said oh my goodness what kind of damage? He said it caused damage to two diodes and I said how much will that cost and he said $950 dollars. I am so glad I called Coaches HVAC. I called Chris Curtis (the owner) Friday night and he had one of his employees out to my house in a couple of hours. His employee Pryole was very professional and took pictures of my heater and explained that whoever put in my thermostat didn't cause damage. Also, he explained I have only one diode not two and there was nothing wrong with my diode on my heater. In addition, he showed me a picture of my motherboard and explained that is why my heater wasn't working. The part was ordered and the technician fixed my heater tonight and I'm warm again!!!!! I'm glad I got a second opinion with a honest company!!! If you ever need someone to work on your heater or air conditioner call Coaches HVAC. You won't be taken advantage of. They are honest and five star all the way.
