My home warranty, American Home Shield, offered a pre-season AC tune up this spring, so I decided to take advantage of the offer and requested the service. Coaches HVAC was assigned to my request and I am very pleased with their service. The technician, Michael Merck, gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to arrival, which I really appreciated. Mr. Merck arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional. He completed the maintenance work in less than an hour and told me everything looked fine; just needed to replace my air filters. He told me about several membership products & services that the company offers outside of the home warranty, but he was not at all pushy about it.

I'm hoping that my home warranty will offer a pre-season tune up for the heating system this fall, but if not, I will definitely schedule one myself with Coaches HVAC.

I have used Coaches HVAC for about 13!years and they get the job done right. They are very reliable and most importantly, they are HONEST. Chris is truly an amazing person, greatly appreciate everything you have done for me over the years.

The AC at my office stopped working and it was really hot outside (100+). One of the ladies in my office suggesting Coaches and that was the solution to our problem. I was assigned to Coaches from my home warranty policy when our HVAC did not cool properly.Skeptical they were in Stockton and we lived in Sacramento where all the big boy HVAC companies are,but I read their reviews and was amazed by the 5 stars by so many.
Well,they deserve 10 stars trust me. Joe Warren came out to diagnosis the problem the very next day I submitted the claim. On time with a call before he got there. Professional,yet friendly,he found the issue quickly.The unit repairable,he ordered the part and the Home Warranty company covered everything. Took a week to get the part, but we understood that if the repair did not work, then a whole new HVAC unit would also be the next move...and is covered under America home warranty. BUT that is not why the 5 stars...The 5 stars are because of the way Coaches treated us. They kept in touch,told us what to expect along the way, and when Joe came back to install the part his expertise was readily obvious. His office returned my calls when needed and I felt like I was important to them. Joe even tried to sweep the area around the unit inside the house as he had a little dirt on his shoes (funny,but seriously a step above what we expected)...I called this morning to tell the sweet little office girl to tell the owner that we were exceptionally pleased with their concern for detail as the job went from the beginning to the end..Bravo, and now I know why the name of the company carries ExtraodinAir...and yes I have you on speed dial...Thanks Team Coaches....well done in my books.

These guys are the real deal. I was prescribed them through my home warranty company American Home shield and of course I am always a little nervous about who they send to you especially because the company is in Stockton but I was pleasantly surprised Stephen Jeffery from Coaches gave me a call when he was close which was much appreciated. He was very professional and he was done in just about an hour and a half.

In addition to this, I told one of my buddies about them and he called, they were at his house the next day and also finished fixing his AC at a fair price in under 1.5 hours also, so my experience was not a fluke. Not a shock that these guys have so many high marks. I would Recommend to everyone.

First and foremost, THANK YOU! This gentleman named Mike came to diagnose my AC unit on Wednesday, explained to me in detail what was wrong. He said he would return Thursday to fix it. To his word, he came back on Thursday and showed me exactly where the leak was coming from and he fixed it! Two years ago our AC unit went out! I am grateful that we had home insurance. Our provider sent us to Coaches HVAC. During the process, we were told it was in our best interest to not only replace our AC, but also our heater… even though there was no problem with out heater. We were skeptical. Eventually we decided to replace the AC and heater. It was the original AC/Heater from a home built in 2006.

At first our heater did not work, but we did not find this out until the following winter season, because everything was replaced going into the summer season. The AC has always been on point and it cooled our home quickly. The brand new AC was amazing! When winter hit, we went to turn on our new heater… and it would not work at all. We checked our warranty and everything had passed. We were so upset.

Instead of reaching out to our insurance, we reached out to Coaches HVAC to fix the system because they put in! This business stands behind its product and their work. I worked directly with one of the owners, who was attentive and understanding. It took a few weeks, but they got everything fine tuned and dialed in. Imagine spending thousands of dollars out of pocket, even though it was covered by insurance, and what you bought did not work. I am so grateful to the employees and the owners. They show-up when they tell you and they were respectful to us and our home. They care about their customer’s peace of mind and their product. If you are looking for a company that does great work, stands behind their product, does what they say, and cares about customer service, then you are done searching! This is it! I love coaches. Super fast response time, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. You can actually talk to the tech, and they call you back with answers to your questions. If you have problems, they follow up - they don't leave you hanging. They should be your first call for heating and AC stuff.

AC went out Coaches HVAC was quick to come out and fix the issue. Excellent work and great service! Would highly recommend!

I had previously written a 1 star review as I had an interaction with a former employee of this company who no longer works there.
The owner of the company contacted us and was incredibly kind and gentle in his response for a review we wrote that did not reflect a current employee, rather a former employee who now works elsewhere.
As a fellow business owner, I have HUGE respect for the owner Joseph - I wish there were more people around like him and his current team.

Our air conditioning stopped working during the 100 degree stretch a few weeks ago. My homeowners insurance referred me to Coaches HVAC and I called them, with fingers crossed, that they wouldn't be too busy to fix our air conditioner. I was informed that they were booked up through the next week. Once I sufficiently explained to the gentleman that we were in dire need of cool air, he found a way to squeeze us in a day later ( a Friday at that!). The temperature was supposed to climb to 107 that weekend but lucky for us, our air conditioning was humming along just fine because of a quick, efficient and kind response from Coaches HVAC. A million thanks! If you need HVAC services, call them, you won't be disappointed.

Coaches HVAC is five star all the way. I had another company come to my house last Friday and he told me that whoever installed my thermostat last, that they must of touched the wires and that caused a lot of damage to my heater. I said oh my goodness what kind of damage? He said it caused damage to two diodes and I said how much will that cost and he said $950 dollars. I am so glad I called Coaches HVAC. I called Chris Curtis (the owner) Friday night and he had one of his employees out to my house in a couple of hours. His employee Pryole was very professional and took pictures of my heater and explained that whoever put in my thermostat didn't cause damage. Also, he explained I have only one diode not two and there was nothing wrong with my diode on my heater. In addition, he showed me a picture of my motherboard and explained that is why my heater wasn't working. The part was ordered and the technician fixed my heater tonight and I'm warm again!!!!! I'm glad I got a second opinion with a honest company!!! If you ever need someone to work on your heater or air conditioner call Coaches HVAC. You won't be taken advantage of. They are honest and five star all the way.

It's been great having them service my system. I had an issue with my AC that required running a new wire from upstairs down to the AC compressor. They installed it quickly and cleanly. The office staff is also very friendly, highly recommended.
